Sync & recovery

Everything is up to date locally

Offline changes stay on this device. Review a change if sync is blocked. Signing out is disabled while changes are waiting.

One library, soon.

This design preview works locally. Email/password signup and real Mac ↔ iPhone sync will be added together, once a fresh Supabase project is connected. Your preview is not a cloud account.

Share from iPhone.

The fastest workflow is a tiny iPhone Shortcut that opens Sidetrail with the shared URL already filled in.

Create a Shortcut that receives URLs and Safari web pages from the Share Sheet.
Use the URL action to build:
https://sidetrail.pages.dev/?url=[Shortcut Input]&title=[Name]
Use Open URLs. Sidetrail opens with the save form pre-filled.

Already sharing from an app? Sidetrail also accepts ?url=, ?title=, ?text=, ?note=, ?kind= and ?tags=.

Review waiting change

Keep waiting is always safe. Discard removes your unsynced change; retry against latest may replace changes made on another device.
